Oncidium Twinkle Yellow

Oncidium Twinkle Yellow is a compact orchid hybrid that produces an abundance of small, fragrant yellow flowers on branched inflorescences. The blooms are typically soft to bright yellow and may appear in flushes throughout the year when grown in favourable conditions. Plants have a dense clumping habit with rounded pseudobulbs and slender upright leaves. This hybrid is well-suited to indoor or small-space cultivation due to its miniature size and prolific blooming.

Care Tips:

• Light: Provide bright, filtered light. A few hours of gentle morning sun can promote blooming.
• Water: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the media to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce in cooler months.
• Humidity: Prefers 50–70% humidity with good air movement.
• Media: Fine orchid bark, sphagnum moss, or a mix suited to small epiphytic orchids. Ensure excellent drainage.
• Temperature: Thrives in intermediate conditions, typically 14–26 °C.
• Fertiliser: Feed fortnightly with diluted orchid fertiliser during active growth. Flush occasionally to prevent salt accumulation.
• Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when media breaks down, preferably after flowering.
